Brotherly Love

I really enjoy watching the twins interact. Sometimes they can be so loving toward each other. Here are a few of my favorite moments this week:

Nathan was sick with a virus this week. Dalton has been very understanding and loving to him :)

Cake Marathon

This past weekend I made 4 cakes. Three of them were half sheet cakes and the fourth was 11 x 15. It took me about a day and a half on and off to work on these but as you can see the boys enjoy the "fruits of my labor" :)

Got cake?

One Stimulating Book! or No bed for me, the floor will do!

And just because I haven't had an opportunity to post a picture of my big one for a while, here he is enjoying some watermelon. He has a nasty ear infection right now. We went to the Urgent care tonight and he is on antibiotics. Let's hope for good health by the weekend!

Some cute hambones!

I am a photo fanatic at our house. I feel like I am always taking the kids' pictures because they seem to do so many cute things that I want to capture. Each one a precious memory that I can relive later in life...Here are my favorites from the past week or so that I want to share:

I SEE YOU!

Yes, one fine day when he is a teenager, I will have to remind him that there is a picture of him on the internet on the potty (in case he should ever decide to run for president or something). I thought of calling this one "input, output" but decided against it :) Don't you just love the carabiner with the attached flash drive cord on his belt loop? Just in case he has to climb a mountain or take some computer files on the run!

Some privacy please!

I walked into the livingroom to see Nathan in a tote trying to give his baby his sippy cup. Too cute!

My baby and me

Dalton woke up shortly after Collin did this morning and Collin asked to huggle him (that's a cross between a hug and a snuggle for all those who don't speak Davis :))
Nothing like brotherly love!

Huggle Time

Then they had a "jam session":

When Jim wrestles with the boys each night he gets their tummy by blowing raspberries on them until they laugh and giggle. Tonight, Nathan decided to give raspberries to Dalton!

Parents, why buy toys when you can just bring home a cardboard box?

And finally, I leave you with pictures of the cake and cupcakes I made for Collin's birthday party. Carolyn and I were up decorating the cupcakes until like 1:00 a.m. the night before the party! Thanks Sis!

Can never have too much Thomas the Train with 4 boys around!

Birthday Memories

Had to share some of the photo and video memories of Collin's birthday. The kids had a blast and we played away the morning while the winds and rain of Hannah swept thru. Of course the big kid, a.k.a. my hubby, had to get in on the fun. I was able to capture one of his back flips into the pit:

Here comes the little daredevil!

And She's off and swinging!

Once over the foam blocks, she changed her mind and came swinging back to uncle's arms!

This is gonna be fun!

Must get the big pink ball!

I swear I didn't eat another cupcake when you weren't looking :)

BYOT (That is "Bring Your Own Team"), We've got ours!

How many moms can say they have their own ball team in the back yard? This one can :) Here are some shots of "my team" hard at play:

The Birthday Boy

Today Collin turned 4! My little man is growing up. He had a very exhausting weekend. Cousins came into town and we played hard! Saturday we had his birthday party at the gymnastics center. It was pouring down rain during the remnants of tropical storm Hannah during his party. It was the perfect activity for a rainy day! I don't have any photos to post tonight as I forgot to clear the camera's memory before I left the house and ended up using Annette's photo disk. I remembered to charge the batteries, but forgot about how picture crazy I can get and how full my photo memory gets so quickly :) All the kids had a blast. Once we got home, the sun came out so they all got to go outside to play some more.

Today we went to the park to play with the little ones while Jim took the big ones to the skating rink to skate. We also stopped by Walmart where Collin noticed these princess pajamas and fell in love with them! I tried to show him all the "boy" pajamas, but he would have no part of it. He wanted the pink princess pjs. I bought them and sure enough Jim said they would have to disappear somehow from our house. I assured him that Pink is just a color, not a sign of our son's masculinity :) I had to take a picture to share with you all. One day when he is a teenager I know he will ask why I let him have this, but for now, I indulged his innocence. You have to admit, he pulls off pink pretty well :)
